Knowledgeable staff, very efficientservices, including plenty of outstanding delicacies. Brand-new room, a shower and a tub in the room. A modern interior.

I loved the stay. Every detail of the hotel was excellent, all the staff were exceptionally nice and pleasant. The property was situated in the very central location right on the beachfront. I often went to Jaen Bar and Kitchen to pick up some food.

The location was magnificent, close to Legian Beach. The room was brand-new and well furnished and included coffee/tea makers and a fridge.

The stay was very relaxing. The hotel was private and perfect, I loved its exceptional staff. The breakfast was awesome on the beachfront, with a huge variety of food. The location was great and stunning, just 5 min walk from Double Six Beach. The pool was nice and I had cold drinks in the swim-up bar...

The staff was friendly attentive and reasonably good, as for 3-stars hotel. The room was air-conditioned with a nice bed and a delicious breakfast included.

The location was great and fab: many local stores and shopping outlets were within walking distance.

Nice hotel with very friendly staff. The complex is really large (2 pool facilities) and lovingly furnished. Three times a week there is a free afternoon coffee with pastries - was very tasty. Out of the hotel one only has to cross a small street and one is already at the beach. The breakfast buffet was big and very tasty!

The average age was a little too high for us.

Spacious room with dining table and a bath, for example. Excellent service and a beachfront restaurant onsite. Swim-up bar and excellent pool. Very central location, not very far from Summer Batik.

We were pleasantly surprised by the stunning traditional architecture and carvings at Kumala Pantai. The breakfast buffet on the beach was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options. The rooms, although older, were clean and comfortable. The location was convenient with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Despite some drawbacks, overall I'll recommend this hotel.

The landscape gardens

The resort is old, in disrepair, our "suite" had the outlook of the rear wall of the pool bar. No views of the beach or ocean. The "suite" was infested with mould. When we complained about the suite the reception staff were not in the least interested so we walked up the street, found a much better hotel for the same price, then went back to the Kumala and checked out 4 days early. The reception staff did not care why we were checking out early. Very poor, run down hotel with disinterested reception staff. Would not stay there again and would definitely not recommend.

The two pools are surrounded by beautiful tropical gardens and then its right on the beach, so its the best of both worlds. great strip of really good cafe/restaurants/bar. but not nosy YarHoo bars, good quality food and drinks. Excellent Spa, but not flashy

truly enjoyed the location right on the beachfront. the local staff were courteous and very polite. could see garden perfectly from our cheap room.

kumala pantai was the perfect beachfront hotel for our celebrations in legian. beautiful gardens, amazing pools, and delicious breakfast by the sea. exceptional service and well-maintained rooms. exceeded our expectations once again.
